Legal duplex conversion our team completed in Thornhill, Ontario. This project consisted of design and permits, demolishing existing, new walkout, replacing all of the floor drains, framing, plumbing, electrical, new bathroom, kitchen, and all of the fire rating requirements.

Over the last several weekends and week nights, our team and subtrades completed minor renovations for HEAR Canada at multiple different locations. Our work was performed after hours, so we did not create disruptions during business hours. The clinics closed as usual Friday night and re-opened Monday as if nothing had happened.

We had the pleasure of supplying and installing another Generac Automatic standby at a house we completely remodeled last year.

This unit is a 7.5 KW generator that automatically turns on selected circuits during power outages.

Our Bobcat MT helped with delivery, trenching, and installing a 4x4` for support. This installation would have been 100 times harder and, most likely, not possible in the winter without it.

Custom home our team completed along with many great subtrades in Toronto, Ontario.
This project required our full attention as so many details were involved in this build. Floating stone juliet balconies, curbless bathrooms throughout, 55` steel slip beams, and interesting roof details completed with LVL`s and TJI`s.

Reminiscing of our complete home renovation and additon project we finished last year. Our clients purchased this home with the intention of doing a full remodel. The first day we started demolition, we found the basement foundation block walls had cracks from the existing walkout. No header or lintel installed, which caused the joists to sag, cracking the foundation walls 1/2" from footing to rim joists.
.
We immediately had to change the direction of the demolition and focus on correcting the foundation walls, waterproofing the entire house, and new rear walkout. Cold days and late nights installing prepping tarps and heaters, all to be removed the next day. We`re grateful for our hardworking trades and the equipment that make things happen when it`s not convenient.
.
All in all, we were able to stay on schedule, and our clients were able to move in comfortably. This is what makes everything worth it.

Another entire home standby generator and panel swap we completed last week. Our client can rest knowing he will never be left in the dark again during a power outage. We installed a Honeywell generator and transfer switch on this one.

Hydro disconnected for 9am. We removed and installed a new panel, installed a new generator, and transfer switch. Inspections and reconnect the same day. All in a long days work.

Our Stouffville addition and entire house renovation is a wrap! Many long days and late nights on this project. We started late last Fall (2022). The winter we experienced presented some of the most challenging working conditions.

We continue to push through, no matter what it takes, and the quality of our work is never compromised.
.
Our clients inherited many foundation issues that were undiscovered until demolition started. This was an obvious case of a cover-up by the pre-existing owners. The basement was partially finished. We found subfloor laid over a drain and discovered massive foundation cracks and water penetration. From the footings to the rim joists, the existing foundation needed to be replaced. This was caused by poor workmanship and neglect.

The block work, water proofing, rear walkout , and front addition were all completed from November until January. Many temporary shelters, tarps, and heaters were erected and re-erected multiples times to provide protection to the work being completed - this is all part of the process.

22kw Generac Automatic standby generator we recently installed with a new electrical service.
The existing meter was from the early 60s and was located inside the home. Today`s code requires the meter location to be outside. We relocated the main feeders incoming from the transformer, installed a new 200A meter base and main rated automatic transfer switch, and installed a cutler hammer 40/80 circuit main electrical panel. We also installed a new grounding conductor, as the old one was not sufficient for todays code. Elexicon hydro disconnected power at 8 a.m., and the client was powered by the new service by 4 p.m. The client can relax knowing they never have to worry about a power interruption again.

This project was unique and had its challenges. The work area was a communal pool between two condo buildings located in downtown Toronto. The ceiling above the pool originally started to collapse from moisture issues. We installed hoarding to protect the work area, scaffold and removed/installed new ceilings, and wired + installed new high velocity fans specialized for indoor pool facilities.

The hardest part of a project like this isn`t the work itself. It`s the smaller things like site prep, bringing in/out materials, working hours, parking, and organizing sub trades.
